- ...skate set-up? Still figuring that out, hope to get some new skates but have been experimenting with wheels and bearings on my rookie skates
- ...song to skate to? Internal soundtrack at practice has included many David Bowie and Queen songs for some reason.
- ...things about derby? Exercise, the ability to see improvement at practice, an excuse to wear fun outfits even for practice
- ...drinks? Anything caffeinated but in moderation. Especially Coca Cola. And the occasional Vodka cranberry
- ...foods? CHEESE -- all kinds; anything with avocado or fresh veggies; yogurt -- all flavors; anything that goes well with Nutella
